Mary R. Bresciani; owned beauty salon

Mary R. (Parente) Bresciani, who owned Mary's Beauty Salon on Hill Street in Hopedale for many years, died April 19 in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. She was 92. Mrs. Bresciani grew up in Milford and lived in Hopedale for 60 years, before moving to Westborough in 1997. She also worked for the state for 15 years. Mrs. Bresciani was an avid Red Sox fan, traveling across the country to attend games. She leaves a son, Richard L. of Wellesley; two brothers, Michael T. Parente and Francis A. Parente, both of Milford; and two sisters, Geneva J. DeFrancesco of Pascoag, R.I., and Lena P. Doyle of Milford. Services have been held. Burial was in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Milford.
