Jeronimas Kacinskas, 98; teacher at Berklee, Lithuanian composer
Jeronimas Kacinskas was treated like a king in Lithuania, said his colleague and fellow Berklee College of Music professor John Bavicchi. Considered by some the most influential contemporary composer of his native country, Mr. Kacinskas had conducted 1,000 concerts for the Vilnius Philharmonic Orchestra and Vilnius State Opera by 1944.
