A remarkable run for the Bentley College men's basketball team that shows no signs of slowing down. On Thursday night with visiting American International in town, the Falcons were all business. Senior forward Jeff Holmes scored a game-high 18 points, and junior point guard Yusuf Abdul-Ali added 15 points, five rebounds and five assists, as Bentley extended the best start in New England Division 2 and Northeast-10 Conference history with an 87-56 thrashing of American International College at the Dana Center in Waltham. Bentley, ranked second nationally and one of only two unbeaten NCAA men’s basketball teams in the country (Winona State being the other), tied the NE-10 record for conference wins in a season. It was their 20th, matching the record set by the Falcons two years ago. AIC, which had won nine of its previous 11 games and had entered the game in fourth place in the conference, fell to 14-11 overall and 12-8 NE-10. Junior forward Nate Fritsch (13 points), freshman guard Jason Westrol (11) and senior guard Josh Correia (11) also scored in double figures.
