McKearney told the Finance Committee last week. Comparably sized towns spend $280,000 a year on health services and employ two full-time professionals to do inspections, according to Town Administrator Jeffrey Nutting. He said the budget increase for the department is one of only three he is requesting for the fiscal year that begins July 1.
