The board, which has five to ten members, is responsible for administering grant funds from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The money can be used for things like performances, educational programs, and lectures that "provide access, education and diversity in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences... to improve the quality of life and contribute to the economic vitality" of the community. Anyone intereseted in applying for a spot on the council is urged to send a letter of interest with background information to: Town of Weston, Board of Selectmen, P.O. Box 378, Weston, MA 02493.
