Having completed his MD degree, Joshua U. Klein earned the privilege of exchanging the short white coat of a medical student for the longer version worn by most physicians. Medical training does not end with a degree, however, and Joshua is grateful for the opportunity to pursue his residency training in the high-intensity environment of the Boston academic medical community. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Joshua graduated from Yeshiva University in New York City with a degree in English in 2000. After a year in Jerusalem, he entered Harvard Medical School, and served briefly as co-editor of the medical school's student newspaper, The Murmur. Upon completion of his medical degree in 2005, Joshua accepted an internship and residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. He hopes to complete his obstetrics and gynecology residency in 2009 and then pursue specialized training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. In his (few) hours outside the hospital, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife, Alana, and 2-year-old son, Ethan (aka Pinny) at their home in Brookline.
