WASHINGTON — The Food and Drug Administration yesterday ordered the maker of the diabetes drug Avandia to stop enrolling new patients in a controversial clinical trial of the widely marketed medicine, saying it needs time to study new evidence of the drug’s risks. (Full article: 745 words)
