CONCORD, N.H.
New Hampshire health officials say a man from the town of Mason has been diagnosed with the West Nile virus. It is the first human case confirmed in the state since 2003. Dr. Jose Montero, public health director, said the man has recovered from the illness. Health officials say the man probably acquired the virus in New Hampshire, though he did travel in the western United States before getting ill.
