Report: Harvard selling part of its international venture to Partners

Harvard University plans to spin off part of its international subsidiary Harvard Medical International to the hospital group Partners HealthCare, the Harvard Crimson reports today.

The Harvard group, which has operations in 30 countries including a large complex in Dubai, has expanded its initial focus beyond consulting on medical education to also providing expertise on healthcare delivery. The healthcare consulting component better fits Partners, the Crimson story says.
