Micah Berman, who teaches health law at the New England School of Law in Boston, has been named one of six new members of the Director’s Council of Public Representatives for the National Institutes of Health. He had been
the executive director of the Tobacco Public Policy Center at Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Les Schwab has been appointed chief medical officer for Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. He was previously a specialty director for internal medicine at the multi-specialty physician group and practiced internal medicine in Concord.
