Put down the stethoscope and vote, doctor says
Did you know doctors vote at a lower rate than lawyers?
Even the general population votes more than physicians, a survey says.
On his blog Kevin, MD, Nashua internist Dr. Kevin Pho links to a post citing a 2007 study from the American College of Physicians that suggests physicians might think their work is more important than casting their vote.
Pho says get out to the polls.
"Health reform is coming," he writes. "Physicians better be proactive in taking a leadership role, as any changes have the potential to fundamentally change our profession. And that starts with voting today."

"Health reform is coming," Pho wrote. Well sort of. Supposedly "reform" came to Massachusetts. Senator Clinton would impose this type of "reform" on all of America if Obama hands her the role leading "healthcare reform". So would Massachusetts senior Senator Fratboy. I guess making it illegal for a Massachusetts tax filer to be uninsured can be called "reform". I guess using the MA-DOR to cudgel taxpayers into buying health insurance can be called "reform". I guess doing this while maintaining Massachusetts profligate medical industrial complex double digit cost inflation can be called some form of "reform". Lord protect the country from "reform" MA style.
