Nom! The Nutella Truck Tours Boston

Yes, the food gods have shone down upon us at last. A truck carrying free samples of Nutella made the first of many stops in Boston at City Hall Plaza in Government Center today. If you find the truck as it roams the city over the next few days, you can nosh on some free Nutella on waffles, play Nutella-themed games, and share in the company of other lovers of the hazelnut spread.

The #spreadthehappy truck tour is part of Nutella’s celebration of its 50th anniversary. The truck plans to tour 16 regions across the US and track its stops on a delicious-looking website. It hit New Jersey and New York in May.

According to the tour site, you will also be able to catch the truck from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 30 in Harvard Square, May 31 in Central Square, June 1 in Navy Yard, and June 3 at Faneuil Hall.

After Boston, the truck will be heading to Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia in June. Then it will head through the south, then to Chicago and Minneapolis, and then across the country to California. Its final stop will be in New Orleans in October. Nutella po’boys, anyone?
