This morning’s gloomy skies will give way to scattered showers and some isolated thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected late morning and will continue into the evening across the eastern half of Southern New England. The high today will be in the mid 70s.

The skies will be nice and sunny on Sunday for Father’s Day, with a high around 80.
