Sharon Police Charge Driver in Pedestrian’s Death

A man is facing several charges, including motor vehicle homicide, in the death of a woman who was killed after being hit by an SUV on Sunday afternoon in Sharon.

The Sharon Police Department announced Monday morning that Jeffrey Bickoff, 44, of Sharon, was also charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding, among other charges.

The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office said Haley Cremer, 20, was on Hampton Road when she was hit before being taken to Norwood Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Sharon Police indicated that this is not Bickoff’s first time being arrested for driving with a suspended license.

Further details are not clear because the case is still actively under investigation, according to Sharon Police.
