A woman who was stocking shelves at a Waltham park concession stand Saturday night said she was held at knife point and that her attacker demanded that she remove her clothing.
CBS Boston reported that the woman, who asked not to be identified, said she was working at Lazazzero Field around 11:45 p.m. when a man wearing a ski mask walked into the concession stand with a large knife and told her to ‘take off everything.’ WCVB reported that she said the knife was at least eight inches long and describes it as a “really big Rambo knife.’’
The WCVB report said that the woman explains that she made the quick decision to run for it, escaping into the street and “screaming as loud as I could.’’ Authorities responded to the scene after she was able to locate a nearby fire alarm box and pull the switch. The man fled, according to the report.
According to the CBS Boston report, the man’s mask made a description difficult, but the victim said he was about 5-feet-10-inches tall and had a medium build. The WCVB report added that he may be Hispanic and was wearing gray sweatpants and a gray shirt at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Waltham police.
