Newton members plan to stage vigil
In a worrisome development for the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, the occupation of churches by parishioners opposed to their closure showed signs of becoming a movement yesterday, as ongoing protests in Sudbury and Weymouth delayed the shuttering of church buildings there and as members of a third parish in Newton threatened their own sit-in.
