WATERTOWN -- Betty (Alizotis) Albano, a longtime department store bookkeeper, died Aug. 29 in the Lexington Health Care Center. She was 84.
Mrs. Albano was born in Watertown and lived there her entire life.
She was a bookkeeper for the Grover Cronin department store in Waltham for 18 years.
Mrs. Albano leaves two daughters, Kathryn Valentine of Salem, N.H., and Phyllis Holcomb of Watertown; a son, Nicholas A. of Nashua; a sister, Gladys Lanzani of Italy; and six grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late Antonio Albano.
A funeral is to be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Athanasius Greek Orthodox Church in Arlington. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
Alice S. Brouillette, a former dancer
FRANKLIN -- Alice S. (Lyons) Brouillette, a former professional dancer, died Friday in Caritas Norwood Hospital. She was 87.
Mrs. Brouillette was born in Boston and educated in the Charlestown schools.
She appeared on stages throughout New England and New York under the stage name Peggy Lyons.
She also worked as a credit counselor for Jordan Marsh Co. and as a bagger at Shaw's supermarket.
Mrs. Brouillette had lived in Franklin since 1980.
She leaves three daughters, Elaine M. of Norfolk, Renee C. Smith of Franklin, and Denise F. of San Francisco; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late Francis A. Brouillette and the sister of the late Joseph Lyons, Francis Lyons, Agnes Lyons, Mary Byrne, and Margaret Jordan.
A funeral Mass was said Tuesday in St. Mary's Church in Franklin.
Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Lawrence J. Molle; served in WWII
FRANKLIN -- Lawrence J. Molle, a Navy veteran of World War II, died Sunday in his daughter's home in Franklin. He was 79.
Mr. Molle was born in Franklin and lived there until moving to Centerville 20 years ago.
During World War II, he was a coxswain in the Navy and served in the Pacific.
Mr. Molle was a retired self-employed carpenter.
He leaves his wife, Geraldine (Petty); two daughters, Bonnie A. Shea of Franklin and Lawrie A. Dalpe of Blackstone; a stepson, Charles Tessein of Concord, N.H.; two stepdaughters, Cindy Eldredge of Harwich and Caren Harris of Andover; a brother, Fred, of Woonsocket, R.I.; a sister, Margaret Gibeault of Milford; and eight grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Anthony Molle.
A funeral was scheduled for today in Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
Margaret Goode, 100; lived in Natick
NATICK -- Margaret May (King) Goode, a resident of Natick, died Aug. 22 in her home. She was 100.
Mrs. Goode was born in Gasperaux on Prince Edward Island in Canada.
She was a member of the Natick Senior Citizens Association and the Hartford Street Presbyterian Church of Natick.
She leaves a daughter, Helen L. O'Malley of Natick; two sons, James E. of Florida and William H. of Texas; a sister, Florence Colling of Montague, Prince Edward Island, Canada; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held Aug. 24 in John Everett & Sons Funeral Home in Natick.
Burial was in Lower Montague Cemetery on Prince Edward Island.![]()
