Boys in animal-slaying case must work with MSPCA

Three Andover boys who videotaped their killing of animals at Camp Evergreen in May have been sentenced to perform 120 hours each of community service for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

They were also ordered to pay a total of nearly $3,000 in restitution for damage they caused.

The juveniles, ages 13, 14, and 15, were directed by a Lawrence Juvenile Court judge to receive counseling and were placed on probation for two years.
