Officials foresee mall reopening in fall

Work on the expansion of the Natick Mall is moving forward, and officials expect a grand reopening in fall next year.

A parking deck near Macy's has been demolished and will be replaced by a new deck in a nearby lot. The site work on the new retail site, which is to include Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, continues, and steel will begin to go up next month.

In March, workers are also expected to begin lowering Flutie Pass, and to begin interior renovations at the mall, a spokesman for the mall said.
