Your article on the anti-Yankee movement made my day (''Anti-Yankees fever grips youth leagues," Globe NorthWest, Feb. 16). My husband and I live in Florida, but were raised in Boston. We and our children are diehard Red Sox fans.
If you could tell me how to contact someone regarding a donation to this cause, it would be greatly appreciated.
This is one check I look forward to sending.

Signs of jealousy and insecurity
They're bribing kids who are probably Red Sox fans anyway with free uniforms. I don't see how it's a story. Unless it's to further illustrate the rampant jealousy and insecurity of Red Sox fans toward the Yankees.

This Yankee fan develops a plan for youth teams
I'm the president of a youth baseball league in North Adams. There are just about as many Yankee fans in Berkshire County as there are Red Sox fans, and our board consists of myself (a Yankee season ticket holder), four other Yankee fans, and two Red Sox fans. As you can imagine, things can get rough!
For this season, I'm pleased to announce that we are eliminating the Red Sox name and replacing it with the Cardinals. I picked the Cardinals because their shirts are red and I wouldn't have to change the color scheme.
