Boaters told to defer to whales
27 of endangered species gather off Provincetown
Slow down; there could be right whales in the area. That was the message issued yesterday by the state Division of Marine Fisheries, which is warning boaters to be on the lookout for the majestic and endangered mammals, some 27 of which have been spotted in the waters off Provincetown.
