Tech expo in Nashua

The 2d annual Greater Nashua High Tech Conference and Expo will take place Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Crown Plaza Hotel, 2 Somerset Parkway in Nashua. Participants can watch technology demonstrations; attend workshops on such topics as intellectual property, privacy, and selling to the federal government; and network with entrepreneurs and business leaders at an after-hours reception. Reading Light upgrades

Reading Municipal Light Department is upgrading its meter reading equipment to bring state-of-the-art mobile collection technology to customers in Reading, North Reading, Wilmington, and Lynnfield Center. The change will speed the residential meter reading process, cutting in half the number of monthly reading days. The upgrading process may cause a temporary change in customers' billing cycles. 13 years of growth

Nashua-based eCopy Inc. announced record orders for the fiscal year ended June 30, marking 13 consecutive years of growth in the volume of orders. For the year, eCopy's orders grew 37 percent to $62.4 million. The international company helps customers integrate paper documents into enterprise software applications.

Seven Hills expansion

Seven Hills Foundation recently dedicated the opening of the West Wing of its Seven Hills at Groton -- Pediatric Skilled Nursing Community. With the completion of phase one of this $13 million renovation and expansion project, Seven Hills Foundation can accommodate families seeking both long-term and respite care. The facility can serve as many as 83 children and young adults who are developmentally delayed and have complex medical needs.
