Two burst sprinkler heads in a Big Dig ventilation building sent thousands of gallons of water onto the underground roof of the O'Neill Tunnel and eventually onto the tunnel's roadway yesterday, forcing officials to close the southbound side of Interstate 93 for about five hours, state transportation officials said.
