The state medical examiner's office has identified the body recovered from the submerged fishing vessel Lady of Grace as that of Antonio Barroqueiro, according to Cape and Island District Attorney Michael Trudeau. Barroqueiro, 50, was captain of the New Bedford commercial dragger, which sank about 12 miles north of Nantucket after it went missing Friday. Divers found Barroqueiro's body Monday in the vessel's wheelhouse, but were unable to search the enclosed areas of the ship because of leaking oil and other hazards, State Police Sergeant Robert Bousquet said. The State Police dive team will make more attempts to recover the remains of the three other fishermen who had been on the sunken boat, Bousquet said.
