BARNSTABLE -- As jail guards drove Anthony Roberts to court yesterday for a routine arraignment, the 22-year-old Cambridge man quietly worked on his desperate escape plan, using his double-jointed thumb to wriggle out of one of his handcuffs, authorities said. (Full article: 923 words)
