Police search of Entwistle home justified, prosecutors say

Hopkinton police were justified in searching the home of defendant Neil Entwistle last year because he, his wife, and their infant daughter had disappeared mysteriously and relatives and friends were worried, prosecutors said yesterday in response to a defense assertion that the warrantless search was illegal and that nearly all evidence should be thrown out.
