Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in New Hampshire won Saturday's $67.6 million jackpot. The winning ticket was sold at the state liquor store in Plymouth. "We haven't heard anything yet," store manager Steve Willey said yesterday. And no one has come in with a $67 million smile. The store gets $30,000 for selling the ticket. Willey said it will be divided among the seven employees, based on the number of hours they work. "It will be a nice summertime trip or something," he said. The winning numbers were: 16-22-43-46-49, Powerball: 10. (AP)

Remains of 2 servicemen ID'd
The remains of two Maine servicemen whose planes were shot down in separate wars have been identified, and one has been honored at a formal burial service at Arlington National Cemetery. Relatives of Army Air Forces Staff Sergeant Glendon Harris of North Monmouth attended burial services last week at Arlington. Harris was shot down by Japanese fighters in October 1943 over New Guinea. The remains were uncovered in 1999. Governor John Baldacci said last week that the remains of another serviceman, Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Paul Getchell of Portland, have been found in Laos and will be returned to the United States. Getchell was killed in action in January 1969 during a bombing mission in the Vietnam War. His remains were discovered as part of an investigation led by the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command. The search began in 1995, but recovery was not complete until 2005. (AP) ![]()
