Owner of snake sought in N.H.

Police are looking for the owner of a 2-foot-long python found sunning itself on Leonard Drive in Pelham, N.H., on June 2. Sergeant Michael Pickles said the snake is being kept at a local veterinarian's office, but the town can't incur the costs much longer.

"It was 85 degrees on the day we found it, and the vet said it was actually too cold for the snake," he said. Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 603-635-2411.
