Results of the City Council District 7 preliminary race showed Chuck Turner and Carlos Henriquez placing first and second in Tuesday's election. The three-way race for two seats ended with Turner gaining 1,476 votes and Henriquez winning 317 votes. Althea Garrison was eliminated in the preliminary race, getting only 151 votes.
