SUPER 6
The week's top area high school football performances:

WR Chris Clark and RB Cory Ross, Shawsheen Tech: Clark piled up 124 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Foss added two more touchdowns in his 118-yard performance.

RB Trevor Jeanson, Acton-Boxborough: The Colonials improved to 5-1 in Dual County play (7-1 overall) behind Jeanson's 16-carry, 90-yard, two-touchdown performance against Tyngsborough.

WR Jordan Murphy, Dracut: Racked up 118 yards receiving, 75 yards rushing, and two touchdowns, lifting the Middies to a 42-6 romp over Lowell.

QB Mike Pierce, Andover: In a record-setting performance, Pierce was 12 of 14 for 159 yards and four touchdowns passing, rushed 11 times for 76 yards and another TD, and booted five points-after. With 122 points this season, he broke the school record (117) set by Raymond "Mal" Lynch on the 1937 state championship team.

K Ryan Romich, Ayer: In a 35-28 win over Quabbin Regional, he booted two points-after and a 32-yard field goal, helping Ayer to improve to 6-2. Romich sealed the win, grabbing a 65-yard touchdown pass, and also picked off a pass on defense.

Games to Watch:
Phillips Andover at Phillips Exeter (2:30 p.m. Saturday): Another chapter will be added to one of the Independent School League's oldest rivalries when Andover takes on Exeter in a much-anticipated matchup between two schools that have met nearly once a year since 1878.

Dracut at Chelmsford (7 p.m. Friday): Thanks to Tewksbury's 41-14 romp over Billerica, a win over Dracut would put the Lions into the postseason with control over the Merrimack Valley Conference title.

Westford at Lincoln-Sudbury (7 p.m. Friday): After last week's loss to Wayland, the Grey Ghosts need a win to stay alive in the Dual County League race. The same applies to Lincoln-Sudbury.
