A Foxborough woman is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow in Wrentham District Court, accused of driving her car through a large, metal door at the Patriots' practice facility. Cheryl Richards, 41, tried to force her way in about 10:30 a.m. Saturday after security denied her access, police said. Rescue team recovers body
Searchers recovered a body yesterday on Great Pond, where an aluminum skiff had capsized a day before, sending three boys and their father to a hospital. The accident had left authorities looking for the grandfather, Thomas Kopp, 69, of Waterville, whose body was found about 10 a.m. Lieutenant Pat Dorian of the Maine Warden Service said the two men and the boys, ages 14, 12, and 10, camped out on an island on the lake annually in November. E. coli in water sparks warning
Hyannis residents are advised to boil their tap water for at least one minute before use, to kill E. coli and coliform bacteria found during routine testing in a water storage tank. Ingestion can cause diarrhea, nausea, and headaches. Young children, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems are more likely to become ill. Town officials are flushing the system, but had no timetable for when the water will be safe. (AP)© Copyright 2007 Globe Newspaper Company.
