Game of the Week

Medfield at Medway (Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.): The Big Blue of Medfield (9-0) are off to a hot start, and could get a big leg up with a win in their cross-Route 109 rivals' gym. Two matchups to watch here: Medfield's Joey Richman against Medway's Alan Hodgdon up top, and Medway's 6-foot-6-inch Pat Cuff against Medfield's 6-4 Matt Connelly down low.

Player to Watch

Ross Fino, Ashland: Hard to ignore the senior forward after such a dominating night against Medway (18 points, 8 rebounds, 5 blocks). He's one of the biggest reasons the Clockers (5-4, 4-3) are staying afloat in the Tri-Valley League.

Game of the Week

Fitchburg at Shrewsbury (Tuesday, 7 p.m.): Fitchburg's Red Raiders are off to one of their best starts in years (5-0), but the question in this Midland Wachusett Division A matchup is whether the team's speedy guards can hold up against the Colonials' vaunted frontcourt, led by Kelsey Giedymin, Bridget Hally and 6-2 Kelly McKenna.

Player to Watch

Liz Conti, Algonquin Regional: The senior forward is averaging nearly a double-double for the Tomahawks. In a crucial Mid-Wach A game against Shrewsbury on Tuesday, she led all scorers with 18 points and 14 rebounds in a 45-33 win.
