BENEFITS

Arlington: The Ding Ho restaurant in Inman Square was the hub of comedy in the Hub for many years. Jimmy Tingle was a bartender, and Denis Leary and Paula Poundstone got their routines in order there. The Ding Ho is gone, but the comedians aren't. And they will be doing what they do best for one of their own next Sunday at "The Ding Ho Reunion," a benefit for Bob Lazarus, who was diagnosed with leukemia. The show starts at 7 p.m. at the Regent Theatre, 7 Medford St., and stars Lenny Clarke, Steven Wright, Barry Crimmins, Jimmy Tingle, and others. $40-$55. regenttheatre.com, 617-694-6612.

EXHIBITS

North Andover: Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, is celebrated this year on May 1. Middlesex College will host "The Courage to Remember: The Holocaust, 1933-1945," a traveling exhibit that will be on display Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sakowich Center, 315 Turnpike St. At 3:30 p.m., Rabbi Robert Goldstein will preside over a "Prayer in Remembrance of Victims of the Holocaust" at Cascia Hall. Both events are free. 978-837-5428.
