Lexington: The Depot Square Gallery will hold a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. today for "Earthtones." The exhibit, which runs through May 25, features Joan Garcia's saggar-fired pots, meaning the pieces are placed in a saggar kiln, which is filled with combustible materials such as hay and seaweed and helps create the colors and textures of her pieces. Carole Parrish of Concord will share new pastel and oil landscapes of Cape Cod marshes.
