Braintree: Who killed the swami? Plymouth: "Picasso at the Lapin Agile," a comedy by Steve Martin that features portrayals of Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso, and a revered rock and roll superstar, will be presented by the Hat Trick Theatre of Plymouth. Duxbury: The LunaFest film festival takes place tonight at 6 p.m. at the Duxbury Performing Arts Center. The annual festival features nine short films by women, exhibitions, live music, and opportunities to meet local holistic healers, authors, artists, and musicians. NATURE
Canton: The Neponset Watershed Association and the Trustees of Reservations will hold "Bio Blitz" on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Signal Hill reservation on University Road. Visitors can join guides on a walk to explore, identify, and record the plant and animal species at this new property. Milton: Pick a project and the tools will be provided. Norwell: Take a wildflower walk with Winnie Lou Rounds and Val Shute at "Wildflower Plant Sale and Horticultural Day," Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The sixth annual event at the South Shore Natural Science Center on Jacobs Lane features native and indigenous plants from New England nurseries for sale and outdoor activities. Find out about the Science Center's butterfly garden and ideas on how to create a butterfly and hummingbird garden with children.
