1,575,000 hours served by Salvation Army volunteers

20,000 college students spent spring break to volunteer in the Gulf region

59 playgrounds built by KaBoom! volunteers to replace facilities destroyed in the storms

1,100 homes built or under construction by Habitat for Humanity, including more than 700 since August 2006
