MUSIC

Pepperell: You may think you know the score on Harry Potter, but a whole new genre of Potter-based Wizard Rock has sprung up, and it doesn't involve high-end movie soundtracks. Performing as Potter Ink, 19-year-old New Yorker Elizabeth Pashley is a one-woman acoustic indie rock act. Her songs are all original and based on various Potter characters, and she's traveling the library circuit hoping to encourage literacy through music. She'll be performing June 18, 7 p.m., on the lawn of Lawrence Library, 15 Main St. Free. lawrencelibrary.org, 978-433-0330.

Roy, revels in color not usually found in that period. The exhibition opens June 19 and runs through Aug. 24 at the New England Quilt Museum, 18 Shattuck St. Roy will lecture about his collection June 21, 1 p.m. On July 19, American folk arts specialist and author Robert Shaw will lead a panel discussion on the collection.
