Newburyport: "Making an Impression: 10 Printmakers" opens Thursday in the Sargent Gallery at Newburyport Art Association, 65 Water St., and will continue through Aug. 6. A variety of printmaking methods will be on view. Participating artists include Muriel Angelil, Linda Germain, Susan Jaworski-Stranc, Barbara Nachmias-Kedesdy, Mary Arthur Pollak, Christine Riccardi, Charlotte Roberts, Glenn Szegedy, Mary Tuttle, and Mary Carolyn Webber. The opening reception will be Saturday, 7-9 p.m. "A Kindred Vision - Two Artists - Brush and Camera," an exhibition by Michael Cunliffe Thompson and Jane Sydney, also opens Thursday and will hold a reception Friday, 7-9 p.m. Free. MUSIC Amesbury: EJ Ouellette & Crazy Maggy perform Thursday, 6-8 p.m., in the historic upper millyard amphitheatre downtown. Stratham, N.H.: Wiggin Memorial Library will host Joseph Carringer (inset), tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. for "G'Day for Reading - The Australian Didgeridoo" in Stratham Municipal Center, 10 Bunker Hill Ave. Geared for grades K-8, Carringer's program will explain the didgeridoo and yadaki aboriginal origin and tell aboriginal bedtime stories. He will show examples of eucalyptus didgeridoos from the North West Territories and demonstrate traditional music.
