CONCERTS
Norwood: The Olde Kids on the Block, recalling the days of Frank Sinatra and the great American Songbook, perform tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Walter J. Dempsey Memorial Bandstand on the Town Common, Washington and Nahatan streets. Free. 781-762-1240.

THEATER
Norwell: Tap-dancing flappers, a dragon of a lady, and dapper men make up only half of the interesting characters in the Broadway musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie." Catch the final performance tonight at The Company Theatre, 30 Accord Park Drive. $30-$32. 781-871-2787, companytheatre.com.

FESTIVALS, FAIRS
Rochester: The Wild West theme this year at the annual Rochester Country Fair encourages visitors to don Western wear and participate in traditional fair activities like pie eating contests, tractor pulling contests, dancing to live music, races, parades, and more. Exhibits include agricultural, antique, and Western wagon exhibits. On Aug. 22, a woodsmen show will be held with men and women competing for the title of king or queen woodcutter; Aug. 23, costume parade, children's potato sack races, and three legged races; antique car show, a pig roast, bonfire and block party dance. ON THE WATER
Hingham: Learn paddling techniques, ecology, and history on 2 1/2-mile trips that depart twice a day in August and daily in September. Weather permitting, equipment provided and tandem kayaks available with a limit of 10 per tour. Walk-ins welcome as space permits at the Kayak World's End Ranger's Station, 250 Martin's Lane.
