Wednesday, 1/28: Merrill Kohlhofer depicts the struggle against slavery in "Voices of Freedom: Memories of Anti-Slavery Days," using the voices of fugitive slaves and free citizens. Thursday, 1/29: Marcus Santos and Bloco AfroBrazil bring their 20-piece percussion ensemble to the Berklee College of Music. The group combines traditional Brazilian music like samba and axé with rock, jazz, and hip-hop for a high-energy performance. Forecast for fun

Saturday, 1/31: Take your little ones to WeatherFest, a special event at the Boston Children's Museum suitable for children through age 12. Attendees will meet TV meteorologist Mish Michaels, make an anemometer, learn about snowflakes, and more.
