Georgetown plans for growth
The Georgetown Economic Development Committee has completed its long-term plans for economic growth and will make a presentation of its findings to the Board of Selectmen at 7 p.m. on June 8 at Town Hall.
The panel has been working with the state Office of Business Development and the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission over the past six months to develop better economic growth tools and ways to expedite business permitting and develop a better understanding of zoning regulations.
Residents are welcome to attend the meeting. A draft of the plan is available at www.georgetownma.gov.
