Game of the Week
St. John’s at Longmeadow, Saturday, 2 p.m. : Following the Pioneers’ 24-14 defeat of Longmeadow in the 2004 Division 1A Super Bowl, the Lancers embarked on a 47-game win streak (which ended last Thanksgiving against archrival East Longmeadow). With his most high-powered offense at St. John’s in years, led by quarterback Griffin Murphy and wideout Richard Rodgers, head coach John Andreoli stands a good chance of collecting another win over a state powerhouse.
