BRIDGEWATER - Off-peak commuters traveling to and from Boston on the Middleborough/Lakeville line of the Old Colony Rail will make the journey between the Middleborough/Lakeville and Bridgewater stations via bus for the next several weeks, so that workers can replace thousands of cracked and crumbling concrete rail ties along that stretch, the MBTA says.
