A program started by the Natick public schools to support young adults with intellectual abilities is asking employers west of Boston to help it grow. ACHIEVE was designed to help people between the ages of 18 and 22 get extra support in life skills such as cooking, cleaning, social interactions, and navigating the public transportation system. Now the program is expanding to include work experience in its curriculum. Tom Brenneman, the program’s transition coordinator, said he’s seeking employers that have entry-level positions available for the young adults. Employers interested in partnering with ACHIEVE should call Brenneman at 774-286-1471.
