The Brigham and Women’s/Mass. General Health Care Center at Patriot Place has opened an urgent-care facility that offers walk-in treatment for conditions considered not to be life-threatening, such as evaluation and management of common illnesses, minor cuts, broken bones and work-related injuries. No appointments are needed and most health plans are accepted, although some patients may require referrals from primary care physicians. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, although its schedule might be affected by major events at the adjacent Gillette Stadium.
