New gallery exhibit

An opening reception will be held today at the Westboro Gallery from 2 to 5 p.m. to showcase the art gallery’s latest exhibit: “Fiber/Glass: Decorative and Wearable Arts.’’ The exhibit highlights the works of fiber and textile artist Carolann Tebbetts and glass artist Holly Kenny. Running until May 8, the exhibit conveys the surprising similarities between the two mediums. Both Tebbetts and Kenny will be showing and selling original work at the reception, from tapestries to wall hangings to jewelry and candlesticks.
