Acting to prevent violence

The Wakefield-based Deana’s Educational Theater will perform two interactive plays, “Remote Control’’ and “Doin’ the Right Thing,’’ beginning at 10 a.m. April 12 at Daley Middle School. The first show will explore issues, attitudes, and beliefs about dating and relationships, including skill-building exercises to encourage healthy decisions. The second will encourage students to take a stand against bullying in their schools and neighborhoods. Interactive discussions following each show will be hosted by the actors, who will help students process and reinforce the educational points of the play.
