Organizers are pleased so far by the level of activity at the new farmers market in Woburn.
Run by the Agricultural Advisory Commission, the market operates each Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Woburn’s new Spence Farm property on Wyman Street.
“It’s going very well,’’ commission chairman Paul Medeiros said of the market, which runs through Oct. 23.
“Our vendors are very happy and they sell out of a lot of their products every week.’’
According to Medeiros, the market draws 25 to 30 vendors each week.
In addition to five area farms, participants include bakers; fish and beef producers; cheese, wine, and honey makers; a coffee roaster, and varied artisans selling handmade crafts.
