Demolition to close trail

The Bruce Freeman Rail Trail behind the Chelmsford Mall at Manahan Street will be closed at times for a two-week period beginning Monday so work crews can demolish the town-owned building located on Katrina Road. For safety reasons, the section of the rail trail adjacent to the building will be closed during portions of the demolition work. The trail is expected to remain open on weekends. - Brenda J. Buote
