AVON Anniversary celebration: Diane and Glenn Peterson, owners of Avon children’s center, are celebrating 25 years of serving families in the local community, on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the school center, located at 152 Highland St. Festivities will include entertainment, arts and crafts, face-painting, a moonwalk, food, and other fun. MIDDLEBOROUGH 4-H barbecue: The East Middleborough 4-H Fair Committee will host a chicken barbecue as part of the annual 4-H Fair this year.
